ARTICLE 4. NUMBERS ON BUILDINGS

4-401. Numbering of buildings.

All structures fronting on public streets or alleys shall be numbered to provide for easier location by emergency services and others.

4-402. Same; visibility.

All structures are required to display assigned numbers of at least four inches in height, of nonrust material and contrasting with the background, and placed so as to make them visible and readily identifiable from the street.

4-403. Same; numbers assigned.

Numbers shall be assigned by the city clerk.

4-404. Same; time of assignment.

All new structures shall be assigned a number at the time of building permit approval and must be displayed upon completion of construction.
